Neville Brody was born in Southgate, London on April 23, 1957. Brody attended London Printing and Hornsey College. He completed his B.A. Degree in graphic design at London College of Printing. While studying graphics design, his tutors expressed that his work was, "Uncommercial “ often putting a heavy emphasis on safe and tested economic strategies, as opposed to experimentation.” Although he was not well received by his tutors, he kept working on his craft. Brody went on to acquire, developed, and mastered every dimension of graphic Art in that Arena. He is well known for his participation on several Magazine such as the Arena, City Limits, Lei Per Lui Actuel ,and The Face. Brody also completed graphic projects for major recording artist such as Cabaret Voltaire and Depeche. In 1988 he produce several volume of his work and it later became one of the world’s best selling Graphic books( Published by Thames and & Hudson). In 1994 Brody founded The Company research Studio and is a founding member of Frontwork . On January 2011 he was elected as the head of Communication Art & Design department at the Royal College of Art commencing. Brody current accomplishment are: • Design for Tribeca Issey Miyake in New York with Frank Gehry[citation needed] • Major contributor to FUSE, an influential publication on experimental typography • London’s Victoria & Albert Museum hosted an exhibition of Brody’s work[citation
